Why
OSOS

When a project is being assessed for pre-qualification, the gaps in a contractor’s credentials show up quickly. Certifications not current. Multi-discipline scope spread across multiple subcontractors. Remote mobilisation experience that’s thin on the ground.

OSOS carries ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification, delivers across four disciplines in-house, and has a proven mobilisation record on remote WA mine sites. If you’re shortlisting EPC contractors for a WA project, the information you need is on this page.

EPC

Engineering, Procurement & Construction

OSOS manages the full scope from detailed design through procurement and construction delivery. One contract. One accountable party.

EPCM

Engineering, Procurement, Construction, & Management

Where the principal retains contract management, OSOS provides the engineering, procurement, and construction capability to execute.

Multi-Discipline Capability Under One Contract

Most EPC and EPCM projects require more than one discipline. The risk of splitting that scope across separate contractors is well understood by the time the problems surface: interface disputes, handover delays, and cost overruns that weren’t in the programme.

OSOS delivers the following disciplines in-house, under a single contract:

One crew. One scope. One point of accountability from mobilisation to handover.

Certifications and Pre-Qualification Credentials

OSOS holds current ISO certification across quality, environmental, and safety management.

ISO 9001 Certified Management System badge, OSOS Global Services quality management certification
ISO 14001 Certified Management System badge, OSOS Global Services environmental management certification
ISO 45001 Certified Management System badge, OSOS Global Services occupational health and safety certification

Independently certified to:
ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).

All three are current and maintained. For procurement managers running formal pre-qualification processes in WA’s resources, energy, and government sectors, OSOS’s credentials are available in full on request. Capability statement, project references, and insurance documentation can be provided at short notice.

Remote Mobilisation

OSOS mobilises specialist crews to remote and regional WA mine sites, offshore facilities, and infrastructure projects across the state.

Remote delivery is a different category of project management. Site access, staging, logistics, accommodation, and safety leadership all require advance planning and genuine experience on-ground. OSOS has delivered EPC and EPCM works at remote sites where mobilisation capability was as critical as technical scope.

If your project is in a demanding or remote location, this is one of the first things we work through with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does EPC stand for, and what does an EPC contractor do?

EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. An EPC contractor takes full scope responsibility for a project: managing design and engineering, procuring materials and equipment, and delivering the physical construction works. The principal has one contract and one accountable party across the full scope, rather than managing separate engineering, supply, and construction contracts independently.

In an EPCM arrangement, the principal retains direct contract management and typically holds the procurement and construction contracts themselves. The EPCM contractor provides the engineering and project management expertise to run the process on the principal’s behalf. In a full EPC contract, the EPC contractor holds all contracts and carries full delivery responsibility. The right model depends on the level of control the principal wants to retain and the nature of the project scope.

For work in WA’s resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors, the standard pre-qualification requirements are ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (workplace health and safety). These are the certifications reviewed in most formal tender and pre-qualification processes. OSOS holds all three, current and in scope.

Yes. OSOS delivers construction and civil works, preventative and reactive maintenance, electrical and instrumentation (EIC), and renewable energy installation in-house. All disciplines are available under a single contract. For principals who want to consolidate scope and reduce interface risk, a multi-discipline contractor removes the need to manage separate contracts across the same site.
